Posted: 16 Feb 2011 01:22 PM PST

I want to move to Lancaster, PA, but first I need a full-time job. My cousin suggested looking at places in the Manor Shopping Center, but I can’t find a list of what’s there anywhere online. If anyone has a list or knows of a place online that would have such a list, that would be great!

What are some successful online businesses that are strictly retail – no wholesale?

Posted: 16 Feb 2011 01:19 PM PST

I would like to start a bath and body business, but I would prefer not to do wholesale. Are there any companies you can think of you sell directly to the public and have a loyal following. Do they just sell online or do they have other avenues such as a brick and mortar store?

Sweet 16 business?

Posted: 16 Feb 2011 10:20 AM PST

After joining this site I realized that I have a lot of great ideas for parties, especially sweet 16s. I have been looking for work for a while now and can’t find anything, so I am thinking of starting an online party consulting business, you know come up with a theme, plan the menu, decorations, create invitations, etc. Is this a good idea? How much would you pay for someone to plan you birthday party or Event? Do you have any ideas? How should I operate? Business names? (Wow I have a lot of questions, Lol) Thanks!

can u tell me if i could be accepted by business school?

Posted: 16 Feb 2011 07:21 AM PST

Im applying to top business school in the US (eg harvard, stanford, mit, wharton, etc).
-undergrad degree from private catholic university – Mount st. Mary’s University. Captain of soccer team, involved in econ & finance club, competition in economics
-International – south america
-Degree in economics and minor in business. Career GPA – 3.5. Overall GPA – 3.08
-GMAT – 700
-Internshipt at T, Rowe Price (Investment Operations) – been working as a financial advisor/broker for two years at sucessful bank. Involved in the Leadership program within the bank.
-Arrived to the states when was 15. Taught myself english. Finished high school and entered college at age 16. Graduated at 20. Youngest student to ever graduate…
-Have done community services – current voluntter job is as a research assistant for professor of finance and econ from Princeton University.

Please let me know what you think. Id like to stay in Finance & Investments. Goal is to do Trading, Investment Banking, Portfolio Management. Some programs say that they require calculus as minimum for finance…but i still see people with undergrad degrees in history or enlgish or music getting into MBAs or MSs.

Ive been thinking about taking a few math undergrad courses from a four year inst and or getting an online certificate degree in math/banking from LSE. would the online ceritificate or the math classes help me become a better candidate? Please let me know what you think about this qs.
There are videos and have interviewed admissions from these school in regards to whats the lowest GPA or GMAT requirement and they say that there is no lowest or highest..they say they focus on the grades “too” but they rather focus on how you have dealt with life, if you are a leader in life, and how you have acomplished your goals…they say the essay is key. If you still believe that my GPA is too low and therefore i have no shot, what do you recomend to do to balance things up? Getting an online certificate, taking classes as a non-degree student? all of these options a expensive..what else do you recommend?
