Has anyone found a good mortgage company online in ohio? Posted: 18 Jul 2011 05:20 PM PDT Also, is it safe to do business with online lenders? I have been eyeballing a website in Ohio that has programs for people with bad credit ( http://www.clevelandohiomortgage.com ) and have pondered the thought of calling them to do business with my refinance on the home mortgage loan. Should I try to do this loan online or should I just call someone local that I can go to the office? Let me know your experiences with online lenders please. Thanks you. |

What happened to the old education.yahoo.com? Posted: 18 Jul 2011 12:21 PM PDT I remember using this site to “find” and research my undergraduate studies. Now when i go there, its all based on ONLINE SCHOOLS (like Kaplan, DeVry) and not Real schools anymore, and the “careers” have to do with these Online schools (business, legal, culinary etc.) I am looking to research Geography/Environmental graduate schools. This site has disapoointed me, it used to break down and compare sizes of schools, what others searched for, student teacher ratio etc. Anyone know of any good website to do my research now? |

CONSUMER ALERT – BEWARE: Calls from “Job Line”? Posted: 18 Jul 2011 08:24 AM PDT Beware!!!! This is actually /Minute Scam Consumers report receiving automated message calls from a service calling itself “The Jobline” where you’re told they have jobs for you. It’s just a scam. If you call the number back, you will get charged per minute, according to messages left in online forums where people share information on telemarketing numbers. They seem to be using the number 976-4477 in different area codes. A scam targeting people already hard up for work and money, that’s pretty high on the Richter scale of sleaziness. You should contact the Attorney General in your particular State, the Better Business Bureau and other government agencies about this scam. Please watch your caller IDs so as NOT to get caught up in this mess. By all means, please tell me what you think about this matter. |
