Yesterday, I googled my name name out of curiosity and happened to find my name, date of birth and full social security number posted on someone’s website! The person is a private individual, not affiliated with any state or federally licensed business, though I don’t know this person at all, how they got my information and why they are posting it on their website. I’ve already contacted the company that provides the webhosting for the site and I’ve complained to them, but they want me to send them a DMCA takedown notice, which I think I’ll need help on because I’m afraid of messing up on it and getting my own self in trouble because I dont really understand all of the legalities. I am a college student living at home with my parents and I’m a very responsible and private person, so I dont know how or why this is happening to me. Can anyone give me some advice of what to do?? How can I protect myself? I’m afraid of my credit or anything being ruined from this! I already contacted the police department as well and though the officer wrote a report, he said no actual crime had taken place and there was nothing he could do.
Skyler – I know, I felt the same way! The officer visited me at my house and I showed him everything I had found on my laptop. However, he told me that there was no evidence it was actively being used against me, so in other words, I guess I’d have to let someone totally destroy my personal identity before anything got done. *sigh* but no way am I just going to sit around and let that happen!

Where should I start on making an internet business?

My mom and I are debating about where we should start our first ever attempt for an online business. I believe that we should start off on ebay and once we develop some frequent customers then we can branch out to our own seperate own business that at least SOME people know about! Please tell me what you think. What should we do?

Okay, so I’m 32 y/o, good-looking, good job, just now coming out of …?
three, four years of depression for a lot of different reasons. But since that time I’ve pretty been alone for most of the time. Consistently alone. Sure I’ve got a handful of good friends but, for the most part, I’m just now coming out of a self-created shell from some years back.

That being said…I managed to push a lot of good people away over the years and that’s what’s left me alone.

Now I want to meet new people. How do I do that? I could easily hang out with my old friends, but all they do is the same old sh!t. I could go online and start dating from match or yahoo, but I’ve done that – screamingly well might I add.

Now what? How do you meet new people when your life is fresh again? When your future looks bright and you want to share that with someone?

I’m not Christian, so church won’t cut it. I own my own business and won’t date employees.

I’m stumped. Any suggestions? Thank you!

This semester I’m taking acct 2010 (2nd acct class) Econ 2010, statistics and Mktg 3000. The advisor (horrible) told me I could be done middle of 2012 but gave no specifics. For those with a bsba how difficult do the classes get (struggle with acct and math) and how far away am I from the bsba? Also my major is general business. I asked her if I should switch to mgmt and her reply was to contact the career services dept. I am an adult student who worked for 6 yrs then realized I’m old…..

Please give overall experiences completing a bsba and what major? I’m limited to general business and mkt since it’s online.
