Posted: 19 May 2011 05:20 PM PDT i am starting an online business, business is setup as drop-shipped process. my customers will buy from my website (i am a Canadian citizen) and the items will be shipped out from US (Kansas city) so my question is, who should collect the sales tax, my partner in US or i should? |

I want to get my business degree and then get my medical degree, and ive heard you can start college classes when you are 16 so that’s when i want to start classes for my Business degree and then i wanna go to school and do the hands on stuff for my medical degree but i just wanna know when i can start? Something to sell on eBay perhaps. Does anyone have any pointers on getting started or what to do first hand? What is a good product to sell? Should I skip eBay and just sell directly from my own website? Yes, I do have another question: Where can I find information on getting wholesale deals? Who do I talk to? |

My school has very few EC’s and only 4 AP’s are actually offered on campus, so be nice about that! Also, how do you think my chances are for Stanford, UC Berkeley, Yale, Columbia, GA Tech, and UVA. Biology Major/ Pre-Med GPA: 4.0(Unweighted is above 4.3, but I don’t for sure until a little later.) It is so not enough for me to pay of my debts(credit cards, family commitment, car and etc). I think maybe a little too slow to get into this business but online business sounds like something that is interesting. Can anyone tell me how it works? How to get income through it? I’ve created an online application for them to fill out and I’m wanting to ask for account references, or references of other Net 30 accounts they have so I can check their references just to see if they usually pay on time. Is this something that is typically done or does it piss retailers off? |
| What is the best customer tracking/sales software application for a small business? Posted: 19 May 2011 10:21 AM PDT I run a small tutoring business and need a way to track leads, capture customer information and run analytics on my data. We also need to be able to track things like how many hours the student has used, the amount spent, total bill and what lead channel was used so we need to be able to customize fields and tables. I would prefer to have an online service (SoS) host this opposed to having to install but this is not a requirement. Also we are looking for something that can be easily implemented and supported. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good solution? If you are speaking from experience it would be great if you can tell me how you used the application, the ease of use and the cost. We are a small shop (3 employees) so we are looking for something affordable but with great tools. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! |
