Are Online Classes Harder than In Classroom?

Business Administration is what I am going for, I want to get my masters degree in it but I dont have time with my work schedule so my friend suggested online but i never took classes online which does make me a little nervous. What do you think? Classes like managing money basically is what I am going to be learning. I already have a insight about things since I have my bachelors degree. I want to go for it but how did you feel about your online experience?

for instance, in the context of lead acquisition for an online subscription business:

1. in general:
how to optimize a media mix, assuming that you have a million annual media budget, eg how much go to natural/paid search, banners, emails, etc – all in context of PROSPECTING/ ACQUISITION

2. by channel:
- banners: how ad networks work, CPM vs CPA; what to avoid, what to look out for, what are areas of opportunity?
- email prospecting: common mistakes when renting a list
- co reg – what works/what doesn’t
- affiliates: how to manage ad networks (RO WISE, AZOOGLE, etc) and their affiliates – eg how to make sure that affiates don’t bid for keywords against you?

How can we emigrate to Australia?

We live in the UK…this is our story.

When i was little my mum and dad moved us to Australia but in 1993 they seperated and my mum moved us back here…my dad still lives their and I want to go back

I am 28 my husband is 35….we are currently not working but my husband has trades listed on their wanted list…Paint sprayer AND panel beater althjo he has not worked in either for 6 years. We did run our own shop but that closed down a few months ago.

All the online assessment forms are hard to fill in as we are not working and can’t explain it all.

We have money to invest in a business!

How can I make my writing into a business/profitable hobby when I am only 16?

Hey, I am almost 16 and I have a knack for poetry, rhyming, as well as just writing in general. I am even into song/parody writing a little and have been writing personalized poems for christmas cards, businesses, etc. for family and friends for years. I was wondering how I could capitalize on these skills and make some money (I am in need of money right now). I have tried writing contests, but they don’t seem to pay off. Does anyone know how/where I could start up some sort of business online for selling my writing? Should I set up a Paypal account? I would prefer NOT to deal with wholesellers online, but rather via mail. (Online would work, but I don’t trust it as much) I had a catalog recently that sold every item you can imagine at wholesale (watches…hats…party supplies…clothes) but I have NO IDEA where it went or what the name of the company was. Any info is appreciated.
no, not overstock. this is why I say not online companies. there is no savings at overstock. compare the prices they offer with prices sellers have on ebay, and you will see how much higher they are.

the key point is i need to buy in bulk, cheap, then be able to resell.

FOR UK-How much do I have to pay for the revenue I make online?

If I make around 200 pounds a month from online sources, where do I have to go and how much do I have to pay in taxes (if I should worry about this at the moment). I know it might sounds silly but I don’t want to take any risks. Soon, after some improvements to my internet business I will probably start earning more and I don’t want any trouble. Thank you.

I have been looking online for ratteries in or around the KCMO area, but all of the websites or business listings that I have found are years old and seem to be out of business. Does anyone know of any good ratteries around that area that are still up and running?

should i apply to columbia or duke early decision?

columbia is definitely a dream school for me and i’ve always wanted to go there. however duke is a close 2nd and i’m trying to make the decision on which to apply to early.
i looked at the acceptance rates for ED and columbias is 24% compared to dukes 38%. i know that both are top schools and i’d be lucky to get into either but i was wondering what you guys think?

heres my basic profile
sophomore year:
alg 2 honor- B both sem
chem honors- B+ first sem, A- second sem
World History- A both sem
English 10- A both sem
Spanish 3- A both sem
Journalism 2- A both sem

AP Bio (over summer @ community college)- A

Junior year:

AP chem: B both sem
Trig Precalc Honors- B both sem
English 11 Honors- A both sem
Spanish 4 Honors- A both sem
AP US History- A both sem
Journalism 3- A both sem

4 on both AP tests

freshman year, i got straight a’s in everything but they were pretty basic classes

overall gpa is about 4.15 weighted

SAT score is only 2140 but I took ACTS and got a 34 (appx. 2250 in SATS), however, I’m planning to retake it in september and am aiming for a 36 (so a perfect score)

SAT IIs: Math 2- 780; Chem- 770; I’m planning to take Literature and Spanish in the fall (both of which i have been scoring 700+ in on practice tests)

235 on PSATS, which means I will be a National Merit Finalist in fall 2010/spring 2011

and I’m planning to take a concurrent online Business class offered at the local community college

this summer i’m interning at a clinic at stanford and will travel to india to work with children with special needs, both which should be great experiences to mention in apps.
i’m really torn so any advice would be REALLY appreciated :)
