| Posted: 12 Dec 2010 03:20 PM PST about getting my Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, but every time I look at the loans, I get discourage. And I don’t really want to work as an accountant or a financial adviser. I just want to have the degree for the sake of having and maybe later (When I become a Citizen) try to get a job with the federal government (My dream workplace). The loans are my main concern. I feel like I will work all my life to pay them back. Do you think I should continue? Or should I get it now while I’m young and in school, and use the degree in the future to get my Federal job? |

I have recently self published a black comedy ebook on Amazon called “The Grave Undertakings Of Thomas O’Hanlon” about an undertaker who becomes a killer in order to make business for himself. It has sold reasonably well and even garnered a decent review in it’s first week of sale (UK site), however, I am aware I will find it increasingly difficult (especially in the US) to maintain decent sales without publicity. Can anyone recommend a good way to market an ebook cheaply online? | What do I need to startup an online business? Posted: 12 Dec 2010 01:20 PM PST I’m looking to start up a non-profit. As a college student, I don’t have a whole heck of a lot of money. I do on the other hand have a plan, a work in progress business model and a handful of backers. I’m looking to set up a website which will sell merchandise, inform about our mission and create some buzz. So I guess the questions are; What kinds of fees am I looking at (ballpark or links?) Is it possible to pay someone a reasonable price to get my website up and running? Time isn’t a huge issue (3 more years until I graduate and have to get a real job) but I would like to start making a difference as soon as possible. Posted: 12 Dec 2010 11:21 AM PST Something where we can report doctors or clinics or check to see if there’s other reports against them. I know there’s got to be something like this, or should be. I found something a long time ago that accepted opinions & ratings (good & bad) of doctors in an area, but it was an incomplete list with very little opinions. I’m interested in a more professional website like the BBB. Any help appreciated. |

Where can I get (buy?) listings to put into the directory? Duplicating the entire phonebook is a huge project for a “hobby” but I’d like to make it useful to people. Does anyone know where I can get business listings to add? |

Does anyone have any ideas on where I can promote the event further to get to small business owners (0-5 employees) who want to be successful in business without giving up on being nice? Any magazines you think I should advertise in? Websites? Any ideas? Many thanks! |
