I sell mostly on Ebay and other auction sites, and I make about ,000.00 per year after all business related bills are paid. Its not alot, but its a decent part time job. How do I turn this into a real business where it will be on the books, and my income can be varified for loans, lines of credit and mortgages.

Can someone point me in the right direction. Is a dictionary definition is in the public domain or not?

I'm looking for some resources (online links or otherwise) to tell me if I can use the definitions I find in a dictionary for a business venture. I'm writing a book/study guide for students and I have to introduce a litany of words.

Can I just do business online w/o the hassel of setting up a corporate type entity? I plan to sell subcriptions to my content site.

Also, if I do have to setup a corp type entity, would it be worth the hassel if the amount I plan to earn is so meger (less than 5k)? Are all of the eBay sellers setup as businesses? What is the rule regarding online businesses, earned income from it, and taxes? Or is there even a rule at all?
In addition, I wouldn’t be looking to setup a sole proprietorship if I did have to go thru the hassle of setting up a business, reason being is that I would look to create a business that had some protection against liability.

I’ve written an ebook about “How to start an online business” titled:
“Online Business Starter Kit – A complete guide to your online success story”
It’s around 61 pages and straight to the guts.
I’m looking for someone or somewhere to sell the ebook rights and the book’s domain name (ebusiness-starter.com) to a 3rd party, I’d prefer to sell the rights and receive my money from the start and the person(s) who buy the ebook can sell and make profit from it from then on.
Do you know of people or places I might be able to sell my ebook?

I am 17 and starting an online business so I have to have a credit card. My mom has agreed to co-sign for me to get a card, but I don’t know if the card will affect her credit or will it start building me a credit report. Also I was wondering if you have any suggestions for the card I should get. I plan to pay off the card at the end of every month and I would like a card that has no annual fees.
